Hey there, my name is Monica Dworshak. I’m a dark fantasy romance author, wife, mother, and mega nerd. I have been writing since I was a child but never took it seriously, then life got in the way. I was one of those forever students that changed degrees about hundred times before finally getting my B.S. in Kinesiology from TWU. About two years ago, my husband and I started playing D&D again with our friends. I would write dramatic 2-to-5-page storylines for my characters when the DM only wanted a short paragraph. The guys were amazed by my stories and told me to write a book, so I finally did (only took me over a year). I’m so grateful to be able to live in a time where anyone can pursue their dreams by publishing their books their selves. I am striving to become a great author where I can show everyone my creativity and since of humor.

I live in Dallas, Texas with my husband, son, daughter, and a very gassy dog. I love reading, listening to music, watching movies with my family, and swimming. I am currently writing book 2 in the Among the Veil series.
